Lesson 8: Prompting for Content & Writing
Master prompts for blog posts, marketing copy, technical writing, and creative content.
Writing Prompts That Work
Getting LLMs to produce high-quality writing requires understanding how to specify tone, style, audience, and purpose clearly.
The WRITE Framework
| Letter | Meaning | What to Include |
|---|---|---|
| W | Who | Target audience and their needs |
| R | Register | Tone, formality level, voice |
| I | Intent | Purpose of the content |
| T | Type | Format, length, structure |
| E | Examples | Reference content or style guides |
Mental model: Think of writing prompts like giving a creative brief — the clearer the direction, the less revision needed.
